The micronic channels on the disk allow for smooth passage of water, allowing contaminated sediments to accumulate in the filter and be evacuated.

Screen filters are made of AISI 304 stainless steel for agricultural and drinking water. Stainless screen is reinforced with plastic frame to increase its strength. Screens are available at 50-100 and 125 microns.
